Seniors Home Care of Webster Groves is among ten businesses and two charities who are winners of TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois.

Kit Whittington founded Seniors Home Care after being frustrated with the care a relative had received. From the beginning, she has hand-picked caregivers, making sure they’re screened, bonded and insured. Each client’s care needs are carefully analyzed as well to determine a caregiver match.

Whittington’s two sons work with her. She has seven team leaders who supervise 120 caregivers. The BBB Accredited Business provides a wide range of care, from short visits to check on clients to 24-hour care. Its high standards and attention to detail maintain exceptional quality.

The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Chase Park Plaza. Tickets for the luncheon are available at $40 a person, or $400 for a table of 10. Patron tables for 10 are available for $1,500. Reservations can be made by calling 314-645-3300.
