Spring is the time of year when many of us want to get out and enjoy Mother Nature. Seniors can do just that with Chesterfield’s Senior Walking Club. The Chesterfield Parks, Recreation and Arts Division hosts these walks every week, beginning April 20 through May 25.

Each week, seniors are treated to a guided tour of different area parks. It’s a great opportunity for seniors to enjoy a change of scenery while getting exercise and learning about the arts and wildlife featured in each park.

The Senior Walking Club meets at 8:30am every Wednesday morning from April 20 through May 25. For more information, click here to visit the Senior Walking Club’s page on the City of Chesterfield website. You may also learn more by calling the Chesterfield Parks, Recreation and Arts Division, at 636-812-9500.

As a bonus, seniors who attend every walk will receive a two-day pass to the River Walk Club at the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center.

Exercise, fresh air and socialization all benefit seniors’ well-being. If you or a loved one would enjoy a walk through the park but need assistance, please contact us. SHC caregivers allow seniors to safely continue harmonious lives with peace of mind.
